Definition of Nacelle Output Group

The origin of the Nacelle output group are at the proximal node of the DrivetrainAndNacelle component. The output are expressed in the global coordinate frame with adjustments described below.

Nacelle motions

• Nacelle fore-aft displacement - Fore-aft motion relative to the reference position and corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle side-side displacement - Side-side motion relative to the reference position and corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle vertical displacement - Vertical motion relative to the reference position.
• Nacelle roll angle - Roll angle displacement reported in Bryant angles. Corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle nod angle - Pitch angle displacement reported in Bryant angles. Corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle yaw displacement - Yaw angle displacement reported in Bryant angles. Yaw rotation defined using the following direction convention.
• Nacelle fore-aft velocity - Fore-aft velocity corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle side-side velocity - Side-side velocity corrected by the yaw angle.
• Nacelle vertical velocity - Vertical velocity.
• Nacelle roll velocity - Roll-component of Bryant angle rates. Corrected by the yaw angle.
