Properties

The external diameter of the can at this location. If omitted, the value from the BaseSection will be used.

The mass per unit length of the can. If omitted, the value from the BaseSection will be used.

BendingStiffness: number (Nm²/rad), optional

The bending stiffness of the cross section. If omitted, the value from the BaseSection will be used.

ShearStiffness: number (N), optional

The shear stiffness or shear modulus of the cross section. If omitted, the value from the BaseSection will be used.

TorsionalProperties: object(TowerCanTorsionalProperties), optional

The properties necessary to model the torsional degree of freedom of a tower can. If omitted, the value from the BaseSection will be used.
